We've teamed up with Vitamix to bring you a bevy of blender-friendly recipes that you can whip up morning, noon, and night. Even better? Their A3500 Gourmet SmartPrep Kitchen System does double duty thanks to the food processor attachment, leaving you with even more delicious possibilities.

As a general rule, I try to cook about 70 percent of the meals I eat. This means a lot of recipe planning, which happens like clockwork every Sunday in a version of groundhog day that's sometimes easy, but more often...not. Some weeks, I rely on my prized collection of cookbooks to help me out, other times I call my mom for help, and then there are times when I get my cooking inspo from the handiest gadgets in my kitchen: my blender and my food processor. Extra fluffy scrambled eggs? Please and thank you. Soup in a cinch? Yes please. Dessert that practically makes itself? Twist my arm!

The folks over at Vitamix have a solution that simplifies meal prep even further. The A3500 Gourmet SmartPrep Kitchen System is one of their newest top-performing blenders that comes with—wait for it—a 12-cup food processor attachment. Now, home cooks like me can chop, blend, mix, and process their way to breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert using one countertop appliance instead of two. Here are a few of our best recipes that require a blender or food processor, from a spicy, slow-cooked take on scrambled eggs to a no-churn ice cream that practically makes itself.

Breakfast

Diana Yen’s Strawberry Rose Smoothie, from Anita Shepherd

Floral meets fruit in this stunning smoothie from Anita Shepherd. You'll use your Vitamix blender to make the simple strawberry purée (literally just fresh strawberries that are blitzed till smooth), then combine coconut yogurt, frozen strawberries, ice, and agave to make the smoothie itself. (Psst: The rosy chia pudding needs to be made ahead of time, so be sure to allow time for that step.)

Scrambled Eggs Patia (Slow-Cooked, Indian-Inspired Scrambled Eggs)

Say hello to your next brunch superstar. These slow-cooked scrambled eggs get their flavor from tamarind, a hot chile, a slew of spices, and cilantro that are pulsed in a food processor until smooth, so there's nothing bland about 'em.

Lunch

Blender Balsamic Vinaigrette

Carolina Gelen reveals her secret for creamy, dreamy salad dressing: a blender. Her version adds Dijon and shallot to the classic ingredients, but the method is the real key. A high-powered blender, like the Vitamix A3500, beautifully emulsifies everything at the touch of a button. With this recipe in your back pocket, you'll never eat a boring desk lunch ever again.

Split Pea Falafel

In this recipe, split peas stand in for chickpeas, but all the usual suspects are here—we're talkin' cilantro, dill, and parsley. A food processor will make light work of the falafel mixing process, then all that's left for you to do is fire up your Dutch oven, fill it with oil, and fry these cuties. Add hummus (bonus points if you make it from scratch), pickled veggies, and a pita pocket, and you've got yourself a hearty mid-day meal.

Dinner

Wheat Berries with Pistachio Pesto

Sure, you could slather your pasta with homemade pesto, or you could switch your starches à la Emma Laperruque and reach for wheat berries instead. Your Vitamix food processor attachment will be your BFF when it comes to making the herby pistachio pesto.

Tomato Soup With a Whole Head of Garlic

A soup is always inevitable in a blender recipe roundup, but you didn't think I'd leave you with just any old soup, did you? This one from Carolina Gelen shows you can never go wrong with a new take on tomato soup (especially when it features fun toppings), plus it uses a whole head of garlic, as the recipe title suggests. Blend it together and whip up a grilled cheese or two for a dinner that's sure to satisfy.

Dessert

Olive Oil Blondies With Salted Caramel

I always find that chopping nuts on my cutting board is one of the top five messiest kitchen activities, so I usually use my food processor instead to spare my vacuum cleaner (and my sanity). Sohla El-Waylly suggests any toasted nuts for this recipe (like pistachios, almonds, or cashews), so you can use whatever you've got on hand and throw 'em in your Vitamix food processor attachment, hit the pulse button, then fold them into the blondie batter.

No-Churn Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Unsalted butter, pecans, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, heavy cream, a pinch of salt, a large skillet, and a blender are literally all you need for this recipe. (Read: No ice cream machine, no problem!)
